Your Nature

Like a harvest moon,
your bright eyes dispel
the haunting darkness
of my spirits
as your voice whispers
through these lone limbs,
a gentle insistence
which stirs my stoic soul.
And when your smile
spreads forth
like the morning dawn,
it lifts the fog from my mind,
renewing those prayers
to feel once again
your sea-wave hair
of sun sprinkled sparkles
curling over my empty shore
as your kissing fireworks
explode in the void
surrounding my heart.
Your charms are overwhelming
like a midnight star-filled sky
impossible to count.
I cannot escape your touch;
I could jump
from the highest mountain
and know it’s you
pulling me back.

Well tomorrow holds only mystery
And who's to say what might be
But in you I found a love so strong
The sun and the moon looked on in jealousy

Sigh... Did you really feel the need to make me cry today?

Oh to feel the power of the universe wrapped up in one person.

Thank you

"Mother" Nature does all of that, and very well indeed...a delightful poem...
