Absolute Instability

The barometer for simplicity
is far removed from excellence,
changes are coming -
like bad winds blowing in
from badlands,
with an immediacy set to hijack
all we accept as true.

Our bellwether grows uncertain,
weathered from the bow-echo of thunder;
no one knows where the next typhoon
will emanate, and visibility
is poor.

Sandstorms to Tornadoes -
from Kabul to Austin,
with enough vorticity
to rain the earth
with evil's spunk;
when the human dust settles,
neither God will be pleased.

I was pleased to read this, for the message it carried and the excellent ending lines:

"When the human dust settles,
neither God will be pleased."

Oh,Corinne~

You've done this with such deep conviction~

'with enough vorticity
to rain the earth
with evil's spunk;
when the human dust settles,
neither God will be pleased.'

I just have to give it an AMEN !
*Hugs*

Your words ring true, Corinne. Our futures are absolutely unstable.  It's a frightening thought indeed. Thank you for your wise insight..
