Life shattered in an instant
peace altered with bursts of hate
moments of terror, innocence has died
September eleventh -
the day the world cried

Senseless acts of violence
mornings seem so stale
hope and faith will ease the pain
America shall prevail!

With justice, love and liberty
two nations shall carry on
growth comes only with the rain
and hard times make us strong

Enwrapped in tears and friendship
I'm sending my heart your way
together, we stand, hand in hand
God bless the USA

Melissa
Such strong and uplifting words you have written as all our thoughts are with those who have lost and those who grieve, as we do.
We remain far apart in distance between our two countries but our hearts are right by your side.  Thank you and take care......Sue

Melissa,
What a blessing it is to have GOOD neighbors. Thank you for these words of consolation and comfort. We will stand, but we will not stand alone, ALL who hate terrorism and the sensless destruction of life must stand together, GOD BLESS US ALL!
Peace, Dennis

Melissa; How comforting are these lovely words...yes we, as one nation, united, shall prevail and triumph!  Love, Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.
