All I Can Be

A constant desire to have lunch and talk,
a spark which has burst into fire,
a consuming dream of unquenchable thirst,
a moon-lit walk in the park;
A busy afternoon of playing like children,
a whole day of nothing to do but you;
A washer of dishes and planter of trees,
a granter of wishes and enjoyer of tease;
A shower of fun, a bath in the sun,
an hour to savor in silence,
a rush in the blood and flush of the skin,
a touch of sin and passion’s kindness;
A pillar of strength and whispers of love,
a truth that is never in doubt,
a kiss at length when the rain clouds above,
a something you can’t do without;
An understanding of fears, comfort for tears,
a friend for many reasons and seasons and years
-
this is all I can be.
Fall into me.

I love this poem!  I like how it flows.  Its also sounds very energetic.

This was great! You conveyed the feelings throughout the whole entire poem. Quite impressive...I really hate it when poems come on strong and end weak and vice versa.
