Evaporated Mist of Day

Liked you since the day I first met you
and on that day you stole my heart away.
My heart won't let me forget you.
Your presence really makes my day.

As I look into your lovely eyes
your beauty evaporates the mist of day
til I want to hold you and I want to kiss you
and slowly take your breathe away.

When we're together and I kiss you
you so tenderly let me have my way.
I love the way you kiss me
each time you take my breathe away.

James, the title is wonderful, creates images all of its own. The poem is a lovely tender one and so full of devotion. Loved it.

Has a warm, fuzzy feel - and that's always a good thing.

*deep sighs*
Geesh...Do I really have to say I love this?

I'm so glad I found you and this poem in here tonight..really needed the break. And, in doing so found some great romantic writing, including this one. Thank you. Enjoyed.

JamesMichael-
I echo Marge...leave it to you to give
us a love poem when we most need it.
   Nicely done.
   Hugs,
