I awoke this morning
to the sound of your voice
flowing through the trees
a voice of love
a voice of beauty
a voice of life

I walked along
the banks of your being
a sun of gold cascaded down
like a jewel of great price
as your voice spoke to
the land
the animals
the people

as I came to the fall
I covered myself in your beauty
and drank of your love

and I asked that
your rivers of life
would continue to flow
not only through the heart of the land
but also
through the heart of man

Art: Oshun by: Sandra M Stanton

Oshun is the Yoruba Goddess of the rivers that sustain life. She rules love, beauty and the arts, especially dance. Streams, rivers, lakes and waterfalls carry her voice on their waters.

Very nice!  Inevitably, you have a good choice of art to accompany your work as well!

As a child of Oshun, I couldn't help but love this---enjoying the many faces of Goddess as seen through your eyes!

*sigh* Simply wonderfully done by the Sven Pen. I love it!

Are so many closed to such beauty and peace?
Is it so hard to walk in natures beauty and refresh one's spirit? Very nice.

This was superb in its imagery Sven. Serene, yet filled with heavy meaning for all of us.

Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

and I asked that
your rivers of life
would continue to flow
not only through the heart of the land
but also
through the heart of man

---------------
the heart of man....
the heart of man
for that heart really needs
a cleansing
of the seeds
of pain
and so many things that
still remain

I enjoyed it as always dear friend.....
Softly flowing and touching.....

Thank you

I have missed some good works lately, being so wrapped up in the busy days of late. This is wonderful, you should put all these together in a book!
