for naught a heart searches
high and low for home
limpid pools of eloquent darkness
evade yet pervade my dreams
both waking & in slumber,
crave, I, their life giving
sparkle
crave I, the warmth
only belonging to him
I dare not tumble again
down exhilarating hill of love
for fear that I lose precious memory
of the past..."
