To mankind eternity is not real
Something we can't claim to know.
If God will make us a good deal
We would be willing to follow.

We struggle to recall a moment in time
Remembering each part makes the whole.
But we'll collect all the moments we cam find
Making our own patchwork for an eternal soul.

Then a moment explodes in front of us
Created for all by the terrorists of time.
Building blocks of complete distrust
Leaving permanent images in our mind.

If we have not experienced eternity
Why do these images seem forever?
Forever, through pain, what a pity,
With God, eternity will be no pain, ever.

Welcome to Passions! You will find here that we are all willing to change things, soon...and that we welcome you with open arms...

Please check your e-mail for a special greeting!

I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

nice work, you will find many great poets here.  Enjoy!

I hope that writing this helped you in dealing with the WTC...it seems the best way to dispell the anger we all feel.

Thanks for the thought-provoking poem. Yes, we have all had a glimpse of eternity.
Hopefully it isn't the picture of terror that stays at the forefront, but rather the images of togetherness, empathy, compassion, and love for fellow man that are burned into our united visual cortex.

Larry-
I was curious today to see how much you have grown since you started at passions.

Its seems that your poetry has always been near perfect and it is getting closer to beyond perfection everytime you write.

You are an amazingly talented writer. I hope I can learn from you still. You are a man of Genuinely Perfect character.

I appreciate every ounce of your friendship.
God Bless

Well now Kellie,
It seems perfect really only works on one. God. But they are delicious thoughts and huge compliments. Thank you, I do enjoy writing and only write from the heart no training and little understanding of technique etc. As for character, I hide my flaws - mostly.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
