Say A Prayer

Say a prayer

For the fathers
Who must leave their wives
And their children

Say a prayer

For the mothers
Who have to leave behind
Beloved families

Say a prayer

For the young
Who for the first time
Are leaving home

Say a prayer

That the brave
Fighting for our freedom
Come back alive.

Say a prayer

That the battles
The killing will end as
Quickly as can be.

Say a prayer

Asking to keep those
Who keep our spirit alive
Safe from harm.

Say a prayer

For all the true heros
Who will give their lives
For our country.

Say a prayer

For the children
Who will suffer with the
Shock of loss.

And say a prayer

For lasting hope.
For peace to over come.
For ever lasting love.
