For all those out there bringing more fear, evoking more hate, showing the ugliest side of ignorance in striking out at innocent people in the name of revenge.

Look at my Face!
It is a rounded face.
A pale and Freckled one.
I guess that makes me safe
Right Now
From your hysterical faith
That all men and women and children
Must reflect your own image
Before you will extend your hand
In love.
That is a pretty ignorant thing
Since we do not even know
What our God Looks Like
And each of our religions
Being Man Made

Your blood is boiling you whole
If you allow your hands, your heart
To hurt anyone now in the face of fear
Simply because they remind you
Of a race, a people, a religion
And you are no better than that
Which tore down a people
In the name of hate.

When you look at my face again
Even if It does not attract your fear
Your favor
Be aware!
I have nothing but Human blood
Running through my veins
And I'll protect all that
Have the same
For I see the face of angels
And I refuse to see anything else.
For they have won if I do.

Dear Regina, a great point to make to all mankind, most of us need not be reminded, others would and I am sure will again cause pain and terror to the innocents.

Wholeheartedly agreed.  We cannot blame the innocents.  Your words are wise ones, my friend..

( smiling) I truly hope we as people can remember these thoughts and ideals....you dear lady have expressed what I have thought about now for days...and worried for those people in our nation and across the world that are good honest people...but might end up in danger or hurt due to backlash of emotions. You have as usual... impressed me a great deal with your heart...and your talent....

I have not posted for a few days and replied only here and there as my own heart is unable to express the things I feel and fear... this addresses one of my fears...that instead of understanding we are ONE people...we will find devisive and hurtful excuses to drive wedges in what should be and in my mind MUST be a united humanity if the terrible tragedy is to have any meaning at all...

Thank you.... for the thoughts and the heart you have shared with us...

Thank you all so much. This drifted backwards for a while...and it seems the hate has subsided somewhat...we can only hope. Smiles to you all.

Sincerely,
Regina
