Mired In Sorrow
~*Marge Tindal*~

Mired in the sorrow
tears can't take back
Feeling heart draped
in sheerest black
Looking for a light
to shine
wanting desperately
for it to be mine

Vainly, plainly
pain I see
looking back
to see if we
are mired in sorrow
wading deep
among the rubble
felled on our streets
Horrific thoughts
still stick to me
The grief I feel
must be set free
I choke in sorrow
knowing the viper breathes
through tomorrow
While brothers/sisters lay
beneath the horror
of what his hatred
caused to be
Wanting purge of life
to steal his soul
with twist of knife
Willingly to thrust it in
twisting off his ghastly grin
The thing I hate the most you see
is that he's transferred
his hate to me
When it comes to a life being taken
I'll take the viper's first
and stand there quaking
Praying that the God I've known
understands the deed I've done

In sorrow for thoughts the viper's driven in
I give the hatred back to him
one deep stab at a time~

Marge, I know how you feel!  I, too, wish I didn't hate so much.  I am afraid I will pass it on to my little ones....but then I wish them to hate what this "thing" is doing to all of us.  We have been so blessed in this country of ours and now it is hurt along with all of us.  Prayer helps and I try to remember..."Thy will be done".  Hugs to you dear lady and may we all find peace.  ME

Somehow I don't feel that hate, just a deep, deep sorrow.  And wonder that there could be so much hatred as these misguided ones have shown. We all react differently.  Joyce

Having lost a child, I can say that I know what grief is like. It comes in waves of different emotions..shock, denial, anger, fear..to heal one has to feel every one of the emotions. Grief is a heavy load to carry and is very draining.. what has happened did not just happen to those directly involved, it has put all of America, for we are sisters and brothers, and we grieve for each other and America we love.  America will grow stronger together as they lean on the true and living God and encourage each other. I encourage all young people to talk to their elders who came through WWII they can show us how strong America can be under adversity.

I understand Marge as I too am battling with the snake of anger. But I find that I would not back down if I were face to face. God forgive me, but I would still tie him in a knot and leave him at the gate of our freedom. Not in hatred, in extermination and determination. Another wave of emotion we will all tread and hopefully not drown in. Peace and Love.

Sincerely,
Regina

Marge
So much sorrow and pain is felt all around the world.  I know I'm so far away from you all but I feel your pain and wish there was something I could do.  So much outpouring of sadness through our written words helps us in our grief and I hope it helps you.
Take care my friend, my thoughts are with you all.........Sue

Marge:  I can readily understand what you are feeling.  We all feel threatened and our instinct for self preservation and the protection of the innocents, is very high right now.

Friends~
God knows I don't want this hatred ...
and I will eventually purge it ...
but until all bodies are recovered from the ashes of the destruction that landed in our country ...
and justice is wrought in their names ...
I'm afraid I'm stuck with my feelings which come in waves.

God bless us all~

In remembrance of them all~

*Hugs*

Margie my friend I can only give my words of sympathy and my prayers. Most of the world is grieving and I've cried many times in the past days as I see the countless acts of bravery and goodwill, the many people who have lined the streets looking for loved ones and of course the stories emerging from those who escaped....Margie gal my heart goes out to all Americans and I hope their strength and courage keeps going.
floating my winged ~HUGS~ in America's direction and the biggest one round you

Thank you for sharing strong feelings we're all prone to at this sad time.  I so wanted to write about it but somehow couldn't find words until this morning when I began to look at it from a different perspective.
God bless you,

Ahh, Marge, gentle keeper, the hate is justified, for we DO hate that we can feel this hate, but, gentle smile, I must confess, I lean more toward the Old Testament in the eye for an eye..What we all hate, is because he caused us to go to our dark side, but the dark side of me would like to find him myself...very gentle smile to you, most gentle one
