Voices Of Passion

~*Marge Tindal*~

We are the voices of sorrow
Hear us cry ~ ~ Hear us cry
We are the voices of Passion
Never to die ~ Never to die

We are the voices of reason
Asking why ?  Asking why ?
We are the voices of unity
On the rise ~ On the rise

We are the voices of justice
in the aftermath of pain
We are the voices of the world
where peace will one day reign

It probably won't be tomorrow
and surely it won't be today
But joined in prayer our voices
will gently lift us on the way

We are the voices of Passion
In harmony our voices belong
We join hands in friendship
in the circle of poetic song

Hear our songs and join us
Hold our hands as voices sing
We are the voices of tomorrow
Hear the peace take wing

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

I will gladly hold the hand of my fellow
poet and lend my voice to the prayers of our people. This is exquisite Marge.  Thank you for the gift.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

There should never be a time that you cant be the voice of us all here...
you speak our hearts with this song of strength
me

Well I looked to the sky for my anthem
The words and the music came through
But words and music can never touch
The beauty that I've seen in you

This may be
the poem of the year...
the one that will
help to wipe away
the giant tear
rolling down

Marge,
You have a way of hitting the nail on the head while the rest of us are sitting there looking at it *S*
