'And what of Africa?
And to this he, pausing replied
............many died'

Three minutes silence

three minutes today
one minute yesterday
we pay homage
to steel
to mortar
to bricks

no time for India
no time for Turkey
no time for Mozambique
Three minutes silence today
confirm my fears
when is tragedy, tragedy.
only when it's you
not when it's me

if it is true that the world talks toomuch then let us all keep quiet and hear the eloquence of silence - Richard Ntiru

tragedy is tragedy no matter where it happens..... moments of silence are not for the brick and mortar ..... the  loss of human life on any shore should be mourned and grieved and respected with moments of silence
