On this, a Worldwide Day of Prayer and Remembrance, let us pray. . .

Creator of all, we come today to you

you who are East and West, North and South
we, your creation, ask you to be with us

with minds full of fear and hearts full of sorrow
we come to you seeking solace
with eyes full of death and mouths full of cries
we come to you seeking comfort
with arms full of nothing, and hands full of dust
we come to you seeking answers

Father and Mother of us all, we come today to you

in prayer and in song, in word and in deed
we, your children, ask for your hand

we ask for your hand of comfort to be with those
who have lost
we ask for your hand of strength to be with those
who are finding
we ask for your hand of peace to be with those
who want war

Giver of life and bringer of justice, we come today to you

in many languages and in many ways
we, your people, ask for our world

we ask that our world be made whole again
by the power of your love
we ask that our people be made whole again
by the power of your hand
we ask that our lives be made whole again
by the power of your spirit

on bended knee, and with tears in our eyes,
we come to you, Creator of all
you of many names
the beginning and the end

we come today to you

hear our prayer. . .

Worldwide Day of Prayer and Remembrance

I join you in this prayer.  Amen.

My arms are folded, my head is bowed...
To join in this prayer with friends, I have vowed.
I thank thee dear Lord for friends such as these,
And join with them in asking for peace.
AMEN...
very well done my friend I am with you heart and soul...Love...Debbie
