Lovely poem severn, a pity that it had to be formed in such terrible circumstances.
It is ironic isn't it that such a terrible accident could give genesis to strong and wonderful things - determination, hope, altruism and sacrifice.
You're right, the world trade centre isn't just a monolithic bastion of stone and steel, but rather it was the heart of the people of America, and it joins the ranks of the lost wonders of the world (along with the colossus, pink and white terraces and the statues of buddha).
Lovely poem - let's see what other wonderful things we can divine from this calamity
