Red White And Oh So Blue

~*Marge Tindal*~

Drip of red 'cross morning sky
White of face in shocked deny
Blue, oh so blue we cry

Red of dread in heart does lay
Ghastly white gives emotions away
Blue, oh so blue - now we pray

Red come red in tear-stained eye
White come light in soft goodbye
Blue, oh so blue -
American blood runs true

United hearts of stripes and stars
These colors wave in unity's furl
We may weep before it's done
But remember this ...
These colors don't run !

They sure don't!  Fantastic presentation Marge, and a wonderfully patriotic message.

Indeed.  Several in our office are decked out in the primary colors...Please, all remember, that today we come together as one in memoriam - then please, GO FORWARD AS ONE FOR THE DURATION, and then some!

Terrorism is suppost to generate fear and despair. Bin Laden has been robbed of his victory. His unspeakable crimes have ignited a powerfull resolve of all Americans and hopefully the world. Terrorist must be shown once and for all their actions will no longer be tolorated. There will be no place for them to hide. Any country that harbors or supports them will be held accountable for their actions. I hope he has written his death warrant with his acts.God bless America. It is time to take out the garbage.

Marge--I'm wearing a flag drapped shirt..."Proud to be an American" written on it...and up and down the streets of our town, flags are flying, on flag poles, on cars ...stuck in planters and on doors. Every tree has a yellow ribbon, thanks to my husband.  The spirit is alive and well, and you have written it in this poem.  Thanks and love!

Yellow we are not! Still so blue, and red with anger, and relentlessly searching for the white light of hope. Much love and appreciation for this and for your continued spirit.

Sincerely,
Regina

Marge-
Though I may be slow in jumping on this
one, believe me when I say, I love it!

From heart to broken heart -
I hold this truth to be -
the United States Of America -
is home, sweet home to me

I will keep her first in respect -
for what she's given me -
Love of this country ever burns -
in faithful service of dignity

Upon the shoulders of her boulders -
she brings forth in unity -
Ever-bending, never-ending -
love, faith and loyalty

*God bless America*
Bless you all
