This heartache holds me within it's grasp,
it invades my soul with a sorrow,
creeping in it shrouds my spirit
under an unrelentless cloud
of sad darkness.

With each tear wept it is as though
some small piece of me is swept away
in an endless ocean of emotion
as it drifts away into the mists
of the pain of time.

There is a certain sullen forlorness
that comes with the heartbreak of knowing
that what once was can never be again,
because when faced with  reality
it  never really was.......

You never would believe that it ever could happen again...In America....   Charlie Daniels

========================

your beautiful words whisper across our hearts today...
thank you..for the quiet comfort in knowing we are not alone in our feelings.

Well I looked to the sky for my anthem
The words and the music came through
But words and music can never touch
The beauty that I've seen in you

Janet
It is a hard time for us all.  It is even harder to know that for all the security that we have felt, such atrocities as this can still happen.  I join you all in weeping...and standing proud......UNITED.

You never would believe that it ever could happen again...In America....   Charlie Daniels

We do not walk alone Marge, we stand UNITED,
brother to brother, sister to sister.......and we shall not fall!

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.
