Black Tuesday

You messengers of terror
See your death marks as honor
A nation morns and grows embittered
Yet embraces this hour

United we stood
And united we stand
Unscathed by your horror
You cannot cripple this land

On that black Tuesday morn
God's children did witness
Bodies falling and burning
But that's not where you finished

You took the lives of his children
Christian, Muslim, and Jew
The flames that exploded
This death came from you

Mothers and children forever
Remember this day
They will embrace this horror
Every time they do pray

Now as for you
You tortured spirits
That needed death to be your plea
God give us His mercy
And His forgiveness find thee

I hope that everyone in our nation is unified by this tragedy... rather than torn apart.
