Our country proud and tall
Cries as we watch those towers fall
And I suddenly understand all too well
What a terrorist is as I watch this hell
For fear has struck our very core
As we sit and wait to hear some more
I cry for those I never knew
And pray for those I already do
And look to God to make this right
And hope our country will stand up and fight
For a coward struck our heart today
He took our loved ones away.

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...
