The Season Of Colored Skies
~*Marge Tindal*~

In colors from the palette
of the greatest artist of time
Stunning beauty that Titia calls
the season of the colored skies

Such a brush of paint strokes
across horizon's sinking light
Beauty is as beauty does show
caught by the lens just right

Her Netherlands sky does glow
with magic colors displayed
Crayola couldn't reproduce it
if they tried all day

*Titia, thank you for the inspiration
and the gorgeous photos you share with us~

Thanks to both - Titia for reminding us, and you, Marge for penning such a wonderful array of colorful words...

Hi Marge, so you took a peek at the 'sky album' on my website.

You wrote a beautiful poem here and thank you for the tribute.
There will be more soon, if the rains will stop for a moment.

Thanks again sweet girl

Titia

Well Marge you are the next best thing to painting the sky that is for sure!  I had a peek at her photos too, she better watch out, I kinda like the peacock!  Very nice picture you painted and the photo - well, awesome!

Marge, we need more beauty and what better than a sunrise, the sign of new beginings.

I have lived out of the sight of land for half of my adult life.  People that live on the water watch the sky closely and call it a friend.  You have painted a picture of an old friend with words.

Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Titia for the lovely use of her beautiful photos that gave me the inspiration for this piece.

Little did I know that within four hours of writing this, that the skies over America would turn so dark with terror.

Even though our skies are filled with sorrow right now ...
we WILL see the palette of His beauty again.
And perhaps, appreciate it even more~

Thank you all.

Marge-
A big 'Amen' to that, my friend.
I know that I, for one, will certainly
appreciate it even more now...as I do
many of the things that I had begun to
   take for granted.

This is truly beautiful, my friend.
   LOVE YOU~
   Hugs,
   ~Vicky
