Broken

Crotched in this empty bottle
the image seems to blur
Can I etch another smile
and drag myself away from her?
She was the crismon moon
the star of each starless night
I still hear her call my name;
the wind moves on an angels flight.
I glimpsed upon her shadow,
I stumbled threw the dry rain
I thought I heard her tears?
No, it was only my broken heart.

Daniel, such a sad write. Now who needs to hold on to their smile?   I look forward to reading more of your work.
Once again welcome to Passions.

Well I looked to the sky for my anthem
The words and the music came through
But words and music can never touch
The beauty that I've seen in you

... thank-you for your kind word! But in this time though we are far, I hope and pray that all involved in the tradgey that has evolved in the US, will find peace and comfort in each others arms.
