I've been
running on empty
for a while
Waiting patiently
for that moment in time
for love to be recharged
But I'm drained
and I cannot pretend
My guard is down
I have no defence
And you know that too well
So you make your calculated move
lying
destroying
consuming
my last hope
and ultimately taking it all

Sometimes love just can't hold a charge any longer, no matter how hard we try or patiently we wait.
