~*~ Guilty Rose  ~*~

Guilty rose…..
Oh…
Guilty rose
Red rose
Of my secret passions
And haughty dreams

Pink rose
Of my endless obsession
Of what is not seen

White rose
Of my incredible innocence
In the midst of my awakening insights

Yellow rose
Of my jealous heart
Where my affection must remain
Unshared

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

*An old poem...but I hope you'd enjoy it.

Thank you

I really liked your interpretations of the different colored roses. Your poem was nice.

I never realized that roses had so many attributes...  now how about that fiery, nectarine-looking one which always commands my attention?

Oh..yes, they have many attributes....but you see in them what you want to see. Or perhaps reflections of what they evoke in you....
Sooo what do you see in that fiery, nectarine-looking one which always commands your attention?
Why does it command your attention, by the way?...

Thank you

Roses of many are we
women who long to be free

Miss Melody, how beautiful this is, and presented so nicely, as well.
