Following
known footsteps
to complete the cycle
of silence
love
and agony
Knowing the road too well
yet choosing to put up with it
again
A drink to celebrate
numbing the senses seems to be best
when loving you is not enough
Starting from scratch
your love doesn't change
but mine might

Your poem is describing my life story,
especially the part ..

Knowing the road too well
yet choosing to put up with it
again

Very Good work (hugs)

walker---these were my favorite lines.  lol
Seriously, I think this is the most consise, effective, core writing I've read of yours.  I am awed at an hour when being impressed takes more energy than I thought I had.  Great write!

walker - words of truth, and of what is real. A truly meaningful writing...

Wow, I have to say I can feel the pain here, and understand it all too well. Very good right.
