There is pain,
Of one sort or another,
Spirit and
Emotion,
An inner cry and shudder.
There’s breaking
And bleeding,
Body’s abuse wrenching cry,
The longing
For ending,
And yet the fearing to die.
Suffer on,
Shed the tears and carry on.

You remain,
For today and another,
Spiritless
And hopeless,
You now stumble and mutter,
Existing
And staying,
Finally tears have run dry,
From choice made
Bruises fade,
Once more she will give a try.
Carry on,
Shed the cheers and suffer on.

Gloom

Oh, the sadness of it all....makes one want to jump into the poem and rescue this poor soul. Very good indeed. Chris

Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away.
