In a corporeal internship...

0 posted 2001-09-05 11:34 PM

Shattered,
I followed
The vague path
Before me,
Leaving behind
My valiant life

Weary daylight,
Holding together
The knowledge
That I had to
Keep moving...

Blind
In your absence

Blind
In your absence

---------------

I have trailed down the page reading your lines .....Then I felt struck in my heart with that final line......
It is such a powerful line....telling so much....

Thank you dear....

Sue, thank you for the wishes.

Tracey -- volumes, indeed, and perhaps, volumes will continue to be written...  Thank you for the visit.

Sandra, all is good, not to worry...  this is simply a combination of an assignment and a healing purge.  Thank you for the "hope."

My Melody -- then you have vicariously experienced this poem's powerful intent...  Thank YOU for stopping by.

I really enjoyed the flow of this. The finality was an ending, but a new beginning as well. Superbly written!

Regina

I like this. The flow is wonderful. Sadly I know the road you are taking. Good luck.

Mark,
This is not the end.
It is not even the beginning of the end.
But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

Regina, thank you.  To every ending there is a new beginning, though not every new beginning has an ending...

Thank you Alan.  The road always seems longer when you're walking...

Nancy:  It's actually a spiral of perpetual motion with recollections and Wisdom to keep the sojourner company...

I am honored, Ron, to hear such compliments from one of my favorite poets -- thank you very much.

Richard -- I guess that kind of sums it up.
