At times it appears that humor is dead ,
the stuff of legend , no more to be read .
Can't swing dead cats now-adays in a loop
without offending some person or group .

Our lawyers insist on disclaimers now .
It was not me who did this no how ,
there's just no way I could pull such a stunt ,
it was the G. Gnome Liberation Front !

This group , G.G.L.F. , as they are called
(in ceramic class circles ) large and small,
are fiends who're held in the lowest regard ,
they free the Garden Gnomes kept in your yard !

Some call this villany , an evil deed ,
I say the Garden Gnomes ought to be freed ,
and shame on those keeping them 'neath their rule ,
the G.G.L.F. is nobodys' fool !

It seems in New Jersey ( not too far back )
the G. Gnome oppressors came under attack ,
from suburban homes , Gnomes dissapeared ,
(this is the point where , things start to get wierd ).

An anonymous phone-call , made after dark
dispatched Police to a local ball-park ,
" Free Gnomes " had taken the field it seems ,
two teams pursuing American dreams !

At times it appears that humor is dead ,
the stuff of legend no more to be read .
I'd say the G.G.L.F. is well versed
in proving this wrong , but who was on first ?

Editors Note :
Dr. Moose wishes to assert that no dead cats were harmed in any way before , during , or after the writing of this piece , futhermore , any dead cats
referred to herein are purely fictitional and any resemblence to any known dead cats is purely coincidental .

I am not surprised that the humour is dead
When with such nonsense we're going to be fed
For I had a gnome in my garden so fine
'Til GGLF nicked him & now he's not mine
I mourn for my fine little furry green felow
He was taken from me, for days I was mellow
For in my garden, he just looked so right
I await his return and leave on the light
And now I ask you, if my gnome is on first
Send him back now, or else you'll be hurt.

Cute, cute. Bring back the humour

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Ah Doc, exactly my thoughts. I couln't have said it any better. Different - yes, but not any better.

Btw, did you see I managed to bring back the Justins for you? Of course they hate my guts, but nothing like a good War of Words with my brothers. Seems Jeannie is about to send out a search party for you though. Want a piece of the action?

And I'm sorry for that "Ballad Of Miss Tracey" Doc, but I had to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me Moose...
