Delight

I find delight in rhyming words
Just as much as flying birds
Or the flap of butterfly wings
The color and pleasure it brings.

I find delight in mornings bright
Just as much as the moon at night
The wonder of the morning’s mist
The power of the moons insists.

I find delight in holding hands
Just as much as a valleys grand
The daffodils that fill the fields
The fragrance that the flowers yield

I delight in the common herd
The common heard and common word
Where every one would taste delight
In reaching out in words of write.

In writing I would thank you all
For making me feel ten feet tall.

And we take our delight ...
in the inhaling of every word you write
So Id like to thank you for thanking me...
most of all Id like to thank you for sharing your poetry.

Everything I have ever read by you is delightful, but this one especially!!  Whimsical and carefree, with a musical pattern......I love it!!

I being 5'2" I personally wouldn't
mind feeling 10 feet tall! But I am
glad I could help somebody from
feeling vertically challenged!
Great Write I enjoyed it very much!
