The Tap of My cane

Layers of my mind in flow
Are the quick sands of my sew
Silver pools of shining light
That sucks me down into the night.

Moments of my ghostly past
That never ever really last
That drains the nectar of my soul
And blinds me to my very goal.

They lay the road before my walk
They curse my tongue with phantoms talk
They never clear the mist away
Or point to me the right of way.

They screen the path of paradox
Make my eyes see golden docks
Fill my ears with mystic chime
Eat the moments of my time

I feel the darkness fill my mind
And scream to heaven I am blind.

Yes, what a haunting picture you paint for us. I really feel this. What a beautiful way to start my day this morning. Thank you

While I  both understand and am touched by the dark depth of the intend of this...
I just have to smile at you my sweet poet of cool ...
for you, who daily writes with so much wisdom and vision to write of being blind ..
NOW THERES the Paradox!!!
there are some really awesome phrases and images in this dark beauty Sy-babes....

To tap the layers, mind of mine
to reach and pool thine silver thoughts
enriching nightfall, in it's glow
'tis mine, 'tis thee, thine words be caught.

Blinded by thy morning words

Seymour~

I see your cane
as Maestro's baton
Tapping out rhyme
until it's done~

Perfect meter
in your song
*Applause* dear Maestro
for taking me along~

You rock ! !
Love you~
