where insanity meets breeding

Another weekend now upon us
This one holds a special bonus
All alone, no one else around
Soon-to-be-ex has gone out of town
Oh happy day, oh my what fun
Got a stupid grin big as the sun
Friends may call, I'll ignore the phone
While he's away, I'm staying home
Not going out, and that's no folly
I'm going to enjoy this peace by golly
Some things will get bad, you see I'm a slob
Already my kitchen looks like it's been bombed
There'll be an F1 race on my TV
Coulhard better win, not that Schumie
Then of course there's the Indy (Molson)
Tracy better win cause he's our boy golden
Maybe take a spin out in my old MG
If God of Lucas Electrics lets it start for me
Tonight I'm gonna have a bottle of wine so nice
Really gonna treat myself, it's Niagara Ice
Probably gonna surf some on the old PC
Cause telly's pretty boring, least it seems to me
Forgive if my posts ramble on, in happiness I'm basking
I'm drinking wine while I'm online (they call that multi-tasking)

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Its funny how when someone is around too much you have SO much fun doing nothing without them. Me, I settle down with some wine too

Thank you all for your kind comments. I was in a really good mood and had to put it on screen and share it.

Helen - I am enjoying my freedom very much this weekend.

Alan - glad I brought back some memories. I tried to e-mail some wine to you. Not sure why my computer started spewing black smoke when I did that

Dee - thank you. I do deserve it

Sandra - you're so right. The soon-to-be-ex always seems to be in my face, so it's very liberating to have a whole weekend to myself. It's a cause for celebration.

Duncan - glad you enjoyed it

ethome - glad you got a kick out of it

How could Schumie always wins, you know it sounds like a fun and frantic weekend.
