Drench Of Moon
~*Marge Tindal*~

~Drench of moon
in watered orb of light
Have you not filled up this
ebony night, with the glow of
moving tides that flow in and
out on ebbing love  Saturated
those caught amidst full rise
with moistured dew in arms
of longing for the feel of
showered rays of love
so adorning~

Marge-
   Oh...this is absolutely gorgeous!  Wow!

I think this may be one of my favorites
   of your 'moon' poems..
The verse alone is beautiful, and I just
   LOVE the graphic!

This one is a keeper for sure!!

   Love ya, Lady Luna,

Absolutely beautiful Marge...you have such a distinct way of portraying the beauty of nature...Lies within your bones, you know I know that!

I remember one time at the cottage I was all alone, the moon was full and the lake was like a mirror. I got into my canoe and I started out across the lake at midnight. The night was so calm that all you could hear was the gentle wash of the paddle on the water as I gently pushed the canoe across the smooth surface. I decided to lay down in the bottom of the canoe and reach over the side once in a while and push myself along. I became one with the sky, the moon, the water and the sphere of the earth. I was totally at peace with God and myself and whispered a prayer thanking the grand creator for the priviledge of enjoying the gift of consciousness that he so kindly bestowed upon me. The peace in that silence flowed through my inner being and I knew there was more to life than this turbulent old world had to offer. So I never forget to render thanks for the things that have been undeservedly given to me.
However, I am really rambling!  See what you do to me!!
