I'm Guilty

Pounding thoughts of Summer's fate,
the way we were of want in wait.
A pretty heart I have for you,
whenever eyes produce their blue.

Confused, a me that carries warm
a thousand moments, still the storm
in memory, torments the dreams
of shadowed loving, needs that scream.
I fear the worst, hold back the tears
as night in flight, suspends and sheers
the layers, soft, exposed for you
whenever eyes produce their blue.

The moon holds promise in its glow
but lost I am, when dark does show,
removing shadows spent by you
whenever eyes produce their blue.

~Wynter

I've read this over several times...it sings, though sadly.  Good write.

seems to be of sadness..and yet...it's more a wistfulness, Duncan. Thank you

Guilty of being vulnerable? Your poem is wisped and aerated in confession, which we all have fallen, and keep falling for those that storm our passion. Very beautiful.

Sincerely,
Regina

This sings such a lilting melody of wistful thoughts. I could pick out the lines I like best-but I like them all so much. Beautiful
