Where Shall I Begin

I once knew a woman that kissed me so good
that I would kiss her forever if only she would.
Nearly a year has gone by since I kissed her and gazed into her lovely eyes.
Still I miss her silky touch and romantic tenderness.
Still I yearn for the taste of her sweet lips.
Yes I fell in love with her smile and her kiss.
In my eyes her beauty was impossible to resist.
How do you let go an of angel no longer there?
Where shall I begin to erase the warm feelings that once filled the air?
How can I pretend that I no longer care?
Will my heart ever find a heart with true love to share?
If only it could be my pleasure to share her love again.
Alas she seems to have no new kisses for me
so where shall I begin?

beautiful bittersweet write of longing SBJ
theres that old saying...
the only way to get over an old love is to find a new love...
words of wisdom....easy to say..harder to live out, I know....
one day at a time SBJ...one day and poem at a time

and you speak to me in rhymes
my body aches to breathe your breath
your words keep me alive"

one day you will get over her,
and find a new love.
Just as JM said, easy to say, and harder to live out, but its so true....one day you will see.

Oh this is sad. And I agree with janet..but sometimes you never get over it for it is a memory that is strong. So we must learn to accept it as a good memory not a sad one.

James, I feel for you, I too, cannot begin to forget someone so special to me. But the love in your heart shines through, and that is a gift in itself.

Sad...but well done. You will get over her and...smile when you think of her.
