Ask Yourself This ~
~*Marge Tindal*~

Circles

Hands joining hands
Smiles causing smiles
Hearts touching hearts
Reaching - Touching - Sharing
What did I bring to the circle today ?

Marge-

I thought to bring a friend,
and found you waiting here.
I thought to bring a song of love
and it's your heart's tune I hear.

I thought to bring a smile to share,
and you gave it back to me.
I thought to bring an open heart,
and you filled it generously.

All these things, I thought I'd bring
to share with poet friends,
and soon I learned that with the giving
the receiving never ends.

Love you, sweet friend,
~vicky

I bring to the circle a smile at your clever but important words and I send that smile to others within the circle that they may too realize the beauty of life's blessings!!

Well done once again my dear poet lady!!

A wonderful bit of food for thought. Presented so succinctly (sp?) Perhaps the more pressing question is what will I bring to the circle tomorrow?

Friends of the Circle~
We hear so many who come to the circle seeking
what they can get out of it !

And I just thought that it's important for each of us to ask,
"What did I BRING to the circle ?"

For if we all come just for the sake of what we 'get' out of it ... then who brings something to 'give' ?

Whether it be our family circle, our friendship circle or our workplace circle - we must ask ourselves what we bring ...
and if each of us brings of ourselves something to give ...
then everyone has something to share with another~

Bless each of you for the *gifts* you *bring*~
*Hugs*

That you bring yourself is all that we could ever ask...

but you always tend to bring a tad more....

When we are looking to 'get' we never seem to get enough...when we are looking to 'give' we can't seem to 'give' enough. The first weakens relationships, the second strengthens relationships. Expressed very well, Marge!

Friends Of The Circle~

Sometimes we come to the circle
needing the gifts that others have brought~

Sometimes we bring all that we have~
and it grows in the giving~

Isn't it wonderful to know that on a day we think we have nothing to bring, that someone will give of themselves to us ?

Sharing and caring~
Reaching out and touching~
Thank you for all you bring~
You've touched a heart today~

I would bring a match
that ignite love from within
which flows freely
to spread warmth
compassion and passion
and friendship will grow
by this circle of love

And run out to catch it.

Actually, I just brought me (as inside are all those good things that I have grown to know are also in others too).  The second thing I brought was a smile to give away.
