For Jill

What do I know
Of love or what?s true
I know when I dream
I dream of you

In brilliant, bright color
And shimm'ring pastel
Where is this scene
I cannot tell

But there you are
In a bright moonlit glen
We approach each other
We embrace, and then

We whisper ?I love you?
We melt into one
We soar through the heavens
And when my dream?s done

A pair of wet tears
On my pillow do rest
A feeling so sweet
And this is the test

One tear is for happiness
You always bring
Time together is a song
The angels sing

The other is the thought
Of being without you
A sad one indeed
This much is true

And for now I?ll be content
In this one happy thought
That today you?re here
With the love that you?ve brought
