this time I spend
reading words from your heart
getting a glimpse of who you are
being given a precious gift so rare
thankful for all you are each day
and I consider you,

Suppose  I share with you
Pieces of my heart, my soul
Emotions that make up who I am
Centering always around love
I know that I will be accepted
As you all are in my words
Loving friends, that will forever be a part of me

Of all the friends ever to grace my day
Of all the love ever to flow this free
None have ever been of this sweet bouquet
None have ever meant quite as much to me

You each offer me, a feast for my eyes
Your hearts revealed, with strength and quiet pride
I read your passions, and I recognize
These our souls, exposed, unable to hide

Every word, Each beautiful turn of phrase
Every rhyme, each piece of your poetry
Always touch my soul, in the softest ways
Always matter, and mean the world to me

Thank you for sharing, your written treasures
And for giving me, poetic pleasures
