Eastern Med.

Turn circles
Life in the steel city
Never sleeps

Flight deck

Pointing hands
Aircraft finding spots
Strange ballet

Catapult

Engine screams
Thrown into the air
Suddenly

Approach

Roger ball
On the glide path now
comming home

Third wire

Tail hook down
Engage the third wire
Quickly stop

To all who served on her.You are not forgotten FID.

Paladin~

USS Forrestal
First In Defense, indeed !
Such a commendable tribute to those who served aboard her.
Thank you~

Those vessels are a whole other world. Very nicely done. My dad spent years on the Nimitz. It seems some people do forget the heroes of the ocean. Wonderful tribute!

Sincerely,
Regina

I know this ship...and many more...its not just the crew of the Forrestal that deserves our honour...but all the men and women who put their lives on the line day in and day out so we can walk free...
