A Mojo Glows Within
~~~
This dime has graced
for longest time
a chain beneath my chin
My father placed it there for me
as  his
did the same for him
It isn't much within thy clutch
its pickins fairly slim
Yet
it plies a gleam
within the eyes
of a priceless
next of kin
~
A drifting branch upon a shore
a seashell
a piece of glass
The shell though empty
placed to ear
resparks a faded past
The branch in truth
an ancient sword
time's magic
blinds the fool
If we but knew the secret words
the glass
returns to jewel
~
A mojo glows
within this coin
as dad returns to boy
All for one and one for all
recast to youth's envoy
The hours fill
the waves contend
consume ...
though can't destroy
the bond
surrounding
evermore
A father and his boy
~~~

What a darling write and picture. You have a very special Mojo! Very expressive verse of sentimental capture.

Sincerely,
