~*Starfish Wishes*~

walking along the beach of remember
a soft silhouette in twilight's last ember
waves of recall tease the  shores of my soul
lend sweet reminisce to tranquility's stroll

digging my toes in the sands of 'gone by'
sifting through memories ~ salt air on a sigh
lost in remembering a love left to chance
still feeling you with me embraced in the dance

starfish wishes in whispered pleas
drift slowly away on the ocean breeze
across the seas to the heart of you
remembering you love me too

Vicky this is so lovely and what a treat of cadence to read aloud...as well as all the pretty poetic phrases...
such a romantic, bittersweet beauty of imagery and emotion.
very lovely poetess V.
(was wondering where you got off to, ya went to the beach)

Feels like Im dancin with truth and wisdom
Precious rhythm you are my guide
These days are sacred, my heart is humble
Oh warrior show me thy light

Well little desert gal, that was simply lovely (for a second thought I thought you were SEA)   it read so smoothly and your selected phasing was beautiful as was the picture you choose to top your wonderful poem off like a cherry on a sundae!

Vicky~
This is one of the prettiest pieces to fall prey to your pen~

What soft, reminiscent imagery~
You're surfing some poignant waves of recall~
Touching tender here, dear poetess~

Lova you~
