I tore the walls down from my eyes. Everything is clearer now. Each word I hear is sweet surprise-- each beat of heart--a sacred vow. The day you left was death of me. I did not know you set me free. Like rain that pours in sheets that blind-- your absence was as soured wine... too many years upon the shelf-- I wanted you just for myself. A wine so fine should be enjoyed. No keep of cork should block the pour, No more cellars I employ-- I'll drink the wine as my soul soars. So brush you off the dust of rage, for on this day? We've come of age. |

for all things there is a time... A wine so fine should be enjoyed. No keep of cork should block the pour, No more cellars I employ-- I'll drink the wine as my soul soars drinking from life cup can at times taste like vinegar..and other the vintage is sweet indeed... Like this... and as usual enjoyed it a great deal. |
