in this life

having stood on eternity’s
shoulder
neither the graveled feel
nor the cloak of dust
clinging
to my soul’s sole
is closer than
my reverie,

as I still reach for you

we’ve traversed afar
still your
touch lingers gently, softer
than the moth of
morn

brushing my cheek

liquid comes the fire
that reminds me
again

how you held me in your
eyes

horizon’s gold gracing
meet of blue
does not unite as closely
the trust we’ve shared in our
care of soul
we’re joined ever closer
than the blend of
dusk to twilight

spirits interlace to hail
our mourn
as we enjoin awareness
again, so walk, walk
along, knowing
I shall be
there, as here,

in this life, waiting

Ah and woeful the wistful wait, dusk to twilight meet each night and win the war of blended bond in starlit darkness, we await a kismet's dawn where Love's eyes meet and hope it's light is there to spark us.

Ahh, Lady, in this life, early lives, and in the future lives, your pen flowed out words to set the soul to wandering, looking for what you have described...very nice write...very gentle smile

Well on that gentle note of being touched by the whisper of your words, I shall say goodnight and tell you that was absolutely breathtaking.

These two lines especially grabbed me:

how you held me in your
eyes

A very powerful expression which triggers familiarity.
