Scars run deep

Here I go again,
Trying to pretend,
Mind wrapped up tight,
Feelings lost out of sight,
No one can see the tears,
Eyes blinded by yet another fear,
When I look back,
All seems trivial in comparison,
To this reality, scars run deep,
My emotions seem to seep,
Into oblivion,
dreams take hold,
To comfort the inner soul,
Turmoil finds it way back in
With the light of day,
Funny how the birds begin to sing,
When I sit here mourning eyes all red,
Another day leads me by a thread,
Yet and still I seem to dread the warmness
of the sun,
When storms are raging deeply.

Dark, sorrowful work but you got the point across very well

Love your work and I'll bet I'll like it more when you get a little happiness in your work. Hang in there and write on.

Thank you Sven, they say in time scars heal,
and I believe that but in time.
JamesMichael, thank you for reading and understanding sometimes we all must write from within,
Cpat , it's hard when the scars show, to often we hide them
Interloper, I do hope to write more happily, and I will so just hang in there ,
mean time keep yours coming.
