Wild Roses

I gathered wild roses in a field
With thistle and thorn for more bouquet.
But had no cloth or protective shield
And tore my hands on the touch and gay.

They have a mystery all their own
Served wine red with bouquets of sigh
They are not catered or sewn or grown
But ever catch the passers eye.

They serve their beauty to pollinate
A clever negotiate with pretense
Pay nectar for a passenger freight
With a thorn filled stem for its defense.

There are roses and roses you know
And they all have thorns about the stem
So be careful what you cut and sew
Thorns are the cost and price of them.

A rose, is a rose, is a rose
Similar, but different enclose.

each petal unfolded brings scent to bloom
I would scatter them about thy room
wielding thorn in mine own hand
to allow you view the color so grand

You know I enjoyed this so very, very much....
