you’ll hear
here in the heaviness
of the night
we used to share
not a word
will I commit to
here in the vacuum
of the night
we used to share
not a word
so stop looking
it’s not me.

They say that there are times when silence is the loudest part of a conversation. You have expressed yourself well in this piece and the presentation and flow are wonderful.
