Disrupt
The calm flowing
With wind then light and sound
Coming across rough water quickly
Drenching

Shower
Lingering on
Steaming when it’s touching
Cooling flows over warm bodies
Quenching

An afternoon shower is grand... Then we see the sun - and perhaps a rainbow.. and a refreshing feeling in the air... I like this PG..

I love it when I move over to let a good quenching rain come through...this is great! I hear the thunder on the horizon....

captured well in minimalistic fashion..it could well be a metaphor for other things as well...

I know no other way to see this other than sexual!

BUT! - that's always been my view of the ocean, lakes, bodies of water, sand, air, life.

I am wondering why you call yourself Professor Gloom - I see different

My style tends toward minimal writing of poetry,
Although I like the occasional Iambic pentameter also.

People are free to view my writings with which ever shading
So moves them, I just try to describe the events about me.
If you are looking for the darker side, perhaps you might look in Dark Passions,
Or my Web site. The Rain or the Cell series are good examples.
We each view the world differently,
I see the dark as comfort, others see the dark as something to fear.
I am pleased you took the time to read and respond to my humble words.
