Deep in the heart

Inspired by Sunshine's "Freefall Through Death."
~*~

still I see my friends
less frequently come the dreams
yet the names remain
faces still play on mind's screen
I will visit twice
first, the wall when I get nerve
then, again, at Heaven's gate.

hmmm, the wall?

the wailing wall?
the wall in a mausoleum?
showing my ignorance?

Precious rhythm you are my guide
