Listening to every heart

Crossroads

might we journey forth this night
on our field trip of will’s might
beneath scented dusk’s twilight
to bask under pale moonlight

avenues shall beg our feet
winsome stroll long lonely streets
moonflowers still smell so sweet
katydids shall strum their beat

from this chair my will’s not weak
moonlit strolls shall I still seek
in dreams where you come to peek
leaving kiss upon my cheek

in my dreams my legs are strong
trolling lanes to dance along

Thank you for sharing such lovely thoughts. I could embrace the whole poem in nostalgic roaming. You penned the crossroads with little cobblestones of life.
Sincerely,
Regina
