The Cost of Rain

If
rain-
drops cost
only a penny,
I wouldn't be able
to buy many. But still
I would try, to make the
sky cry one hundred and
fifty cents worth of
drops.

One hundred and fifty cents....don't know why this amount but enjoyed your poem as well as your shape of things to come...

I like the shape poems...and this one is nicely done...

( smiling) 1.50 worth of rain... afraid if raindrops cost a penny and we had to pay for it... most of us would not get much...

I enjoyed!

wow! needing rain so badly that you'd give all you have to get as much as possible! Just as the widow of the widow's mite gave out of her need her sincerity was so great.

Well done shape poem and sincere plea.

Just because you did so well on the shape poem, I will toss in another buck fifty to double your dose.  I so enjoy it when someone tries one of these.  Well done and I look forward to your advanced "shape poems" now.

Lovely drop of wishes! I really liked this so much. I hope you get your money's worth and maybe even a little extra thrown in for a bargain!

Ah SmittenKitten ... this is delightful!  Wonderfully shaped, and with sentiments that I understand all too well. I'm in Ontario ... and we're sooooooo incredibly dry, it's frightening! Well done!

Best wishes,
/Kit
