Salt of The Sea

Echoes of my paradox
Sound, in my Pandora’s box
Distant in the morning light
Haunt me in my sleep at night.

Live with me from day to day
Never have they gone away
Sweep me like a hurricane
Lightning, thunder, all in vein.

A tempest in a teacup
From this brew I ever sup
Time and age has changed the knew
Steeped it to a bitter brew.

The snake whispered to my wife.
The apple destroyed my life.
Coming from a common salt
There is no blame or fault.
         And
My salt returns to the sea
The prime creator of me

I've missed you the last couple of days, you Old Salt...with you and Doc...I've plenty of oceanic breezes coming my way...so thank you for this, and thank God for you...

very well written Seymour..I enjoyed the last two lines..almost an epilog to the rest..and still an important part of the poem itself...

theres a lot of sad in these waves...
me thinks ya need a sail to serenity...
once again your rhyme and poetic phrasing
has me saying waaay cool.

Feels like Im dancin with truth and wisdom
Precious rhythm you are my guide
