The Resident

Their eyes show nothing
Memories stolen away
Time’s sorrowful toll.

rosepetals25, this sounds like a nursing home.  Lots of "no body home".  ME

Mother Earth -  That is exactly what it is.  I work at a nursing home. I wrote this today between activites.. it's so sad sometimes watching time take its toll.  Thanks for stopping in .

Decaflame - That is exactly what I do.  I actually listen to them instead of rushing by... that is the most important thing. Everyone is always to busy at a nursing home... the residents usually only desire someone to stop and actually smile..and give them a few moments of genuine attention.  Thanks for stopping in.
